Management Reporting

There is little doubt that accurate and consistent management information is a key factor in controlling costs. Yet very few companies have effective processes in place to manage or utilise the enormous amounts of information that is made available by suppliers. The combinations of paper bills; online and disk based billing and additional reporting tools often lead to managers and administrators becoming overwhelmed with information.

In reality, this feeling of being overwhelmed, coupled with the complexities of telecoms billing and the pressures of other internal requirements invariably means companies do very little to monitor telecoms expenditure. In fact, it is estimated that around 70% of telecoms bills are never checked for accuracy, other than a glancing eye.
